Carbon Steel Wire

Key Features:
Material Composition: Carbon steel wire is made from carbon steel, with varying carbon content depending on the desired mechanical properties. Carbon content typically ranges from 0.1% to 2%, influencing the wire’s hardness, tensile strength, and flexibility.
Grades Available: Common grades of carbon steel wire include:
Low Carbon Steel Wire (C1000, C1020): With a low carbon content (less than 0.3%), these wires are highly ductile, making them ideal for applications requiring flexibility and ease of fabrication.
Medium Carbon Steel Wire (C1045, C1050): Offering a good balance of strength and ductility, medium carbon steel wire is suitable for applications where higher tensile strength is needed without sacrificing flexibility.
High Carbon Steel Wire (C1075, C1095): Contains a higher percentage of carbon (0.6% to 1.0%), which makes it stronger and more wear-resistant, ideal for high-stress applications such as springs, tools, and wire ropes.
Tensile Strength: Depending on the grade and carbon content, carbon steel wire offers varying tensile strengths, ranging from 350 MPa to over 1000 MPa.
Surface Finish: Carbon steel wire is available in various surface finishes, including:
Bright (Clean) Finish: Smooth, polished surface with no coating, commonly used for low-carbon steel wires.
Galvanized: Zinc-coated for enhanced corrosion resistance, making it suitable for outdoor and corrosive environments.
Black Annealed: Softened wire with an oily surface, ideal for applications where ease of bending and forming is required.
Coated: Available in plastic, copper, or other coatings for improved durability, corrosion resistance, or electrical conductivity.

Carbon Steel Pipes and Tubes

Key Features:
Material Composition: Primarily composed of iron and carbon, with trace amounts of manganese, silicon, sulfur, and phosphorus. The carbon content in the steel determines its hardness, strength, and overall properties.
Grades Available: Common grades include A53, A106, A333, A252, A500, and API 5L among others. Each grade offers varying levels of strength, weldability, and corrosion resistance, making them suitable for different applications.
Shape and Size: Available in seamless and welded forms, as well as a variety of sizes (from small diameter pipes to large diameter tubes) and thicknesses, including light, medium, and heavy wall thicknesses.
Surface Finish: Available with smooth or mill finishes for general applications, or galvanized (coated with a layer of zinc) for added protection against corrosion in outdoor or corrosive environments.
Versatility: Carbon steel pipes and tubes can be used for a wide range of applications, including fluid and gas transportation, structural support, and mechanical purposes.
Temperature Resistance: They can withstand a range of temperatures, with higher grades being suitable for high-temperature applications like steam lines and power plants.

Carbon Steel Coil

Key Features:
Material Composition: Carbon steel coils are made from carbon steel, which typically contains up to 2% carbon along with trace amounts of manganese, silicon, and other elements. The carbon content affects the material’s hardness, strength, and overall mechanical properties.
Grades Available: Common grades include A36, A1011, A572, A514, SPCC, and Q235, among others. These grades offer varying levels of strength, flexibility, and resistance to corrosion, making them suitable for different applications.
Forms Available: Available in cold-rolled and hot-rolled finishes:
Cold-Rolled Steel Coils: These coils are processed at room temperature and offer better surface quality, precision, and tolerance.
Hot-Rolled Steel Coils: These coils are rolled at high temperatures and are typically used for structural applications where precision is less critical.
Surface Finishes: Depending on the application, the coils may be delivered with various surface finishes, including:
Mill Finish: A standard, unpolished finish, commonly found in hot-rolled coils.
Pickled and Oiled (P&O): A hot-rolled coil that has been treated to remove mill scale and prevent rusting.
Galvanized: Coated with a layer of zinc to prevent corrosion, commonly used in outdoor, marine, or industrial environments.
Thickness Range: Carbon steel coils are available in a wide range of thicknesses, from 0.3mm to 12mm or more, depending on the specific needs of the application.
Width Range: Coils typically range from 600mm to 2000mm in width, with custom widths available depending on customer requirements.
Coil Weight and Length: Coils vary in weight, typically ranging from 2 tons to 20 tons per coil, with custom lengths available.
